Samuel is a multidisciplinary photographer and creative specialising in fashion editorial and advertising, and the rebranding and retrofit of brands and businesses using refined and arresting imagery. With a meticulous eye for detail and being artistically conscious, Samuel has come to understand, to it’s full extent, the power of a photo and how to tailor this into any brand identity. Samuel has devised a versatile, unique and highly recognisable language within his images, one that appeals to personnel across the board of editorial and advertising. He enjoys bridging the gap between androgyny and femininity, creating timeless and emotive imagery, portraying strength of character and unique beauty.

Besides the imagery, a huge part of Samuel’s work is about collaborating with new and established models, taking a huge interest in the new generation of faces. Along with this Samuel keeps his finger firmly on the pulse of the fashion industry, and having numerous longstanding, collaborative relationships with industry professionals across the UK and Europe.

Samuel started out in photography and the creative arts from a young age, developing his practice and style using 35mm and Medium Format film. Then moving on to University where he experimented with large format and the latest digital imaging technologies. This is where a profound attunement to portraiture and fashion was discovered, challenging the preconceptions of the male and female figure, and dealing with ideas of androgyny within our society. His images have a dark and unsettling aesthetic which coexists with a refined artistic style for advertising and commerce.
